Pua and his Uncle go Fishing

PUA AND HIS UNCLE GO FISHING

My writing goal is to, use my writing to think about, record and communicate information across the curriculum. Today I believe that I have achieved this goal.

Pua cast his line from the dinghy and it snagged straight away. Uncle tried to help him reel it in but it wouldn’t budge. Suddenly the skies turned grey, the sea got choppy and a giant pirate ship bubbled up from the depths of the ocean, dwarfing uncle’s dinghy.

“Uncle,” Said Pua. “you know how I said we will catch some dinner, does this count?”

Pua and Uncle jumped on the ship and Pua said. “Uncle, let's find some treasure!” So Pua and Uncle searched all over the ship until finally they found a room full of treasure chests.
“ Jackpot!” Said Pua. so Pua and Uncle carted all the treasure from the pirate ship into the dinghy.

Just as they were throwing the last chest into the dinghy the weight of the treasure chests sunk the dinghy. Unluckily enough for Pua and Uncle, Poseidon (the Greek God’s) palace was directly underneath Pua and Uncle’s dinghy, so the treasure sunk directly into Poseidon's throne room.

Poseidon had just drifted off to sleep when the treasure landed in his throne room. Poseidon was not happy, he rose up out of his throne and shouted “WHO HAS BEEN TOUCHING MY TREASURE!” He stormed out of his palace with his trident in hand and launched himself up to the top of the ocean and in front of the pirate ship, putting a tremendous shadow over Pua and Uncle. “WHAT ARE YOU PUNY HUMANS DOING TOUCHING MY TREASURE!?”
“S-s-s-sorry Lord Poseidon, w-w-we were j-j-just trying to c-c-catch some fish and we h-h-hauled up your pirate ship.
“Well what were you doing touching my treasure?”
“We were just looking on your pirate ship and we found it. And we were going to take it back to our village.”
“oh , well I guess that’s okay since i’m in a marvelous mood today!”
“Thank you so much Lord Poseidon! We will go back to our village and praise your name!”
“In that case I guess I will go back down to my place to get the treasure.” “Thank you so much Lord!”

Poseidon returned from his palace with the treasure and gave it to Pua and Uncle. “Thank you and good bye Lord Poseidon.” and from that day on wards Pua, Uncle and Poseidon were the best of friends.

THE END.
