Today we are learning a place value strategy. An example is 18 x 5 = so we had to do 10 x 5 = 50 , then we did 8 x 5 = 40 and then we added the two numbers together , 50 + 40 = 90 so 18 x 5 = 90.
I find this strategy quite easy and I would use it again.
